Many WordPress layouts allow for some custom tinkering, including adding a logo or a favicon to one’s page. What is a favicon? It’s the little icon that pops up on the tabs of web pages or serves as an icon for bookmarks on many devices, including on home screens. Here’s what mine looks like in my browser’s tabs:
Even at such a small size, the “N” and the little voice box are still visible. It’s a simple, clear way to brand and identify my blog, and I’m proud of it. It took a lot of work, but I think I understand logos/favicons. It turns out I love making them, too, as evidenced by the collage above.
Does your blog/web page need a logo or favicon? I’ll make you one. Hit me up, and I will, free of charge, create one for you. It will be a simple look, like the examples provided here, but I think it’s something I can pull off.
That, or this is a hilarious failure.
Whatever the case may be, I would like to do this as a service to folks, especially those starting out as bloggers or looking to create a brand. And if you don’t like what I make, you certainly don’t have to use it, either.
